At a time in life when students are developing strong opinions and starting to define their place in their world, The Conservatory School Middle School (TCSMS), is a wonderful space for students to incubate and share their ideas.

All students engage in Harkness, a discussion format where all students use their voice and each voice is valued, even when students don't agree. It's a space where students explore ideas as a group, learn to activate their voice, and develop the empathy to understand different points of view. This foundational experience at TCSMS, along with the community built in orchestra and band ensembles, creates a bond among our middle grades students that is like no other.

Continuing the experience from the TCS elementary program, TCSMS students also engage in deep PBL projects. Their projects cement the fact that students aren't ever too young to make a difference and that their work makes an impact in their community.
